April 27 — Community Council meeting at 1 p.m. All parents are welcome to attend. This is also the deadline to order Summer Review Books. There are Math Skills Sharpeners, Language Arts Review, a Keyboarding course and other review books available.

Scholarships:

The University of Alaska system is offering an academic scholarship of $1,500 per semester for four years, which will be awarded to one applicant who is enrolled as an undergraduate student and who plans to pursue a four-year degree in education.

The scholarship is open to any incoming undergraduate student who plans to study teaching at one of UA’s three campuses.

The application period is now open and the deadline is May 1.
