Alaska State Troopers at 10:25 a.m. went to Mile 163 Sterling Highway for a report that a semi-tractor trailer truck’s driver side window had been shot out while the truck was heading north. The window appeared to have been hit by a small-caliber round or possibly a pellet gun, trooper said. The driver was not injured and reported no cars or persons near the road. Troopers searched the area and found no one nearby or evidence of a shooting. Troopers ask that anyone with information on the incident contact the Anchor Point Post at 235-8239.
