Alaska State Troopers at 9:30 p.m. made a traffic stop on a driver in a red SUV near Mile 157 Sterling Highway after a citizen made a report of aggressive and reckless driving. Troopers arrested a 47-year-old Anchor Point man for driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a chemical test and driving while license canceled. He was taken to the Homer Jail.

Troopers at 12:37 a.m. contacted people in a suspicious car at a Lake Street parking lot and allege three of the four juveniles in the car were under the influence of alcohol. The juvenile driver fled on foot but was later contacted and was found to be driving in violation of his instructional permit. Troopers cited the driver for violating his instructional permit and cited him and three passengers for minors consuming alcohol. The children were released to responsible adults and all parents were contacted.

Troopers at 7:16 p.m. arrested a 16-year-old boy on a charge of second-degree sexual assault in relation to an alleged sexual assault of a 17-year-old boy at a Sept. 8 party on East End Road. Troopers on Oct. 4 had previously arrested an 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, both of Homer, for the same incident and charges. The boy was taken to Kenai Youth Facility.
