Staff report

Although the date has not yet been confirmed, Dan Sullivan, the Republican candidate opposing incumbent Alaska Sen. Mark Begich in the Nov. 4 general election, plans to make a return visit Homer before the election, according to Sullivan campaign spokesperson Mike Anderson.

Before the August primary, Sullivan participated in a debate with his two opponents for the GOP U.S. Senate nomination, Joe Miller and Lt. Gov. Mead Treadwell, at Land’s End Resort.
