Street Faire is Saturday
The Homer Council on the Arts Street Faire is 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday on Hazel Avenue, the street that runs by the Homer Public Library and north of Safeway. The Street Faire includes art, crafts, food, music, storytelling and more. The featured performance is by Roger Lusby, an award-winning New Zealand songwriter, poet, environmentalist, folk singer and early childhood music tutor. Lusby performs noon-1 p.m. Also performing are Amelia and Ben Tyrer, Betsy Scott, Shamwari Marimba Ensemble, Skywalker Storyteller and the Homer Ukulele Group. Parking is on Waddell Way east of the U.S. Post Office.
