The Homer High school Mariners girls’ soccer team is offering a clinic for youth ages 5-14, taught by Mariner coaches and players and held at the high school gym on April 5:

• 9-10:30 a.m.: 5- to 9-year-old boys and girls;

• 10:30 a.m.-noon: 10- to 14-year-old boys and girls.

The youngsters will be divided by age and ability within each group. The clinic includes a 15-minute warm-up, 30 minutes of instructional stations and 45 minutes of scrimmage. Cost of the clinic is $10 per athlete, with funds benefiting the girls team’s travel expenses. Meet in the high school commons. Arrive promptly 10 minutes early to register. Parents must register with their child. Bring clean indoor shoes, shin guards, water bottle, a great attitude and the $10 registration fee. Adult S-XL  Homer Soccer T-shirts are available for $20.
