Homer Community Recreation is sponsoring this “Cross Over Event” as they kick off the upcoming winter season of recreation on Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

A Ski & Winter Gear Swap starts at 5:30 p.m. in the Homer High Commons. There will be bargains of folks selling their equipment/clothing and/or bring your gear to sell or trade. This is free event with no businesses. Bring all of your skis and snowboards to get them waxed by the Homer High Cross Country Ski Team for a small fee as this is one of their important fundraisers.

For dinner HOWL will be selling four different soups and bread as a fundraiser to support their outdoor adventure programs. Dessert selections will also be available for purchase and enjoyment provided by the Homer Middle School “AK to DC Annual Trip” fundraising group.
