The host Seward volleyball team swept Homer last Thursday in Southcentral Conference action.

On a night the Seahawks honored seniors Jordan Hartman and Kyana Hutchinson, Seward collected a 25-18, 25-23 and 25-17 victory, defeating Homer in straight sets.

The Homer varsity team is now 19-22-7 for the season and 4-4 in conference play.

The Lady Mariners travel to Nikiski on Friday and Kenai on Saturday to finish conference play for the season.
