The Colony girls and boys cross-country teams swept the Colony Invitational at Colony High School on Saturday.

The Knights girls scored 35 points for the victory, while Soldotna was just behind at 41. Homer was fourth and Kenai was seventh.

The Colony boys had 41 points to top the 56 of runner-up Grace Christian. Homer was fourth at 123, Soldotna was fifth at 136 and Kenai Central was ninth at 259.

Soldotna’s Tania Boonstra won the girls race at 19:44, with Ella Hopkins of Colony second at 20:03. Last week at the Ted McKenney Invitational at Tsalteshi Trails, Hopkins won while Boonstra was second.

Homer’s Daisy MossWalker was fifth.

Also in the top 10 for Soldotna were Kathryn DeBardelaben at sixth, Sophia Jedlicki at ninth and Annie Burns at 10th.

Also from the peninsula, Emilee Wilson led Kenai at 21st and Katie Van Buskirk led Seward at 23rd.

In the boys race, Grace’s Robbie Annett followed his Ted McKenney victory by winning at 16:35, while Palmer’s Fischer Adams was second at 16:39.

Noble Cassidy led Soldotna at 16th, Ethan Styvar led Homer at 17th, Chase Laker led Kenai at 34th and Olin Liljemark led Seward at 52nd.
