In the final week of Broomball League play, Alice’s Scoundrels and the Beluga Lake Bombers tied for the top score with two goals apiece against each other and one goal apiece against the Down East Grayskulls, who finished in last place.

MVP awards for the week went to Liz Villarreal of the Scoundrels, Rudy Multz of the Bombers and Theresa Tilter and Matt Creamer of the Grayskulls.

The Broomball League will set aside Homer rivalries this week to prepare for the bigger threats, Whitehorse and Bethel. The End of the Road tournament starts March 29  at 7 p.m., continues early Saturday morning and gets down and dirty in the afternoon.  The award ceremony will be held at Alice’s Champagne Palace.
