Forty-three runners and bikers participated in the Jakolof 10 Miler, which was held in Seldovia last weekend on Saturday, July 27.

Participants competed along “ten tough miles of hilly gravel road,” starting at the Jakolof Bay Dock and finishing at the Harbor Pavilion.

The race was hosted by the Seldovia Arts Council.

Race organizer Tania Spurkland wrote in an email to Homer News on Sunday, July 28, “A huge thank you to the businesses and organizations that donated awards, prizes, and equipment for the Jakolof Bay 10 Mile Bike/Run from Jakolof Bay to the Seldovia Harbor.”
