Tammie Ann Cook, age 57, passed away Tuesday September 3, 2024, in Homer, Alaska.
Tammie was born in Salinas, California on August 2, 1967. Becoming an Alaskan resident in 1994, Tammie lived in Cold Bay, Sitka, and Cordova before settling in 2010. Tammie was known for her beautiful spirit and caring nature as she made her way through life as a loving wife, homemaker and Doula.
Tammie loved wrestling, babies, and Jesus. She was an avid supporter of Alaska Youth Wrestling, especially woman’s wrestling. She rarely missed a tournament and could be seen mat side encouraging all the wrestlers. She was the ultimate wrestling mom! As a doula, she enjoyed assisting women with their pregnancy, birth, and nursing their newborn babies. She loved to walk on the beach and collect driftwood, rocks, and beach glass. She enjoyed raising and homeschooling her eight children. She will forever be remembered and missed.
Tammie is proceeded in death by her mother, Carol Ann Curtin. She is survived by husband, Todd Cook; son(s), Dustin Cook, Tristen Cook, Rorey Cook, and Brodey Cook; and daughter(s), McKenzie Cook, Roane Cook, Saoirse Cook, and Storey Cook.
