Homer resident Ms. Patricia Louise Horton, 71, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Main Street Assisted Living in Homer. No services are planned at this time.
Ms. Horton was born Dec. 24, 1940, in Oregon. She graduated from Taft High School in Taft, Ore. Soon after graduating she attended Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore., for one year. In 1993 Patricia moved to Wasilla.
After living in Wasilla for seven years, she moved to Homer in early 2000. Patricia enjoyed performing in community theater. She appeared in several productions with the Gallery Players of Oregon, the Valley Performing Arts in Palmer and Pier One in Homer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Graham and Irma Horton, and a sister, Jeanette.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher Covey of Berlin, Md., and Duane Covey of Hillsboro, Ore.; daughters, DeAnna Catlin of Anchor Point and Rebecca Ravin of Homer; grandsons, Wesley Catlin of Anchor Point, Daniel Ravin of Homer, Levi Catlin of Anchor Point, and Miles Catlin of Homer; brothers, Richard Horton of Hillsboro, Ore., and Johnny Horton of New Mexico.
