Anchor Point resident Linda Marie Jones passed away June 13, 2021, at her home.

Linda had a love of being in the kitchen, sewing, embroidery and reading the newspaper, which she never threw away. She always had the biggest smile and was full of joy when her kids, grandkids and great-grandbabies surprised her with a visit.

When at home, you would usually find her in her “spot” on the couch doing a crossword puzzle, planning a meal, making a list for something or watching daytime television.

Linda made her career in restaurants throughout her life and was well known for making and helping with amazing meals for large gatherings and during the holidays. Linda was always rooting for her friends and family in everything and was everyone’s biggest cheerleader. She is truly missed by many, as she was one of a kind!

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Jones.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Williams, of Homer; son, Bobby Jones, of Wasilla; daughter, Nicole Powell, of Kenai; seven grandchildren and two great-grandbabies.
