Freda Maxine Dee

April 7, 1961 – Jan. 6, 2022

Freda Maxine Dee was a wonderful mother, grandmother and wife. Her smile was bright and contagious, and she loved everyone around her. Freda was born April 7, 1961, and raised in Wallace, Idaho before moving to Homer, Alaska, where she has lived with her family for 36 years.

Freda is survived by her husband, Kermit, father, Darell Gray, as well as her brother, Michael and sister, Debby. She was a loving mother to her sons, Greg, Bob and Jonny and her daughters, Jessica and Lynnzi. She is lived on by her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Freda was always helping others and never hesitated to provide a home to the people who needed it. Her loss will be felt by many, as was her love. Freda passed on Jan. 6, 2022. She will be lovingly remembered by family and friends.

A memorial gathering for Freda has been planned for Feb. 22, 2022, from 2:22-8 p.m. at the upstairs Glacier View room at the Best Western Bidarka. It will be a potluck of finger foods, coffee and juice.
