We are sad to announce the passing of Edward Bradley “Brad” Gamble of Homer, Alaska on September 2, 2023 at 69 years old. Brad passed at home from his battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Isabelle and Robert. He is survived by his wife Barbara; three sons Seth (Megan), Luke (Katie Jo) and Saul; four grandchildren Caitlin, Alex, Samuel, and Baxter; sisters Marti (Rick) Anderson, and Nancy Dodd of Montana; brother Doug (Joan) Dodd, and numerous other family members. Brad came to the state as a young man, graduating from Dimond High School in Anchorage. Here he made his family, and contributed greatly to the small coastal community of Kachemak Bay by founding and operating many long lasting enterprises. People knew Brad to be a kind man. Loving of his family, honest, and fair to all. He will be missed. A celebration of life service was held September 6th at Faith Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, Brad requested donations be made to the Homer Food Pantry.
