David Allen Forner, 69, died May 3, 2017, in Homer, Alaska.

A memorial service will be held for friends and acquaintances wishing to attend at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Homer Independent Baptist Church, 3614 Forest Glen Drive.

Dave was born in Tucson, Ariz., to his parents, John and Charlotte Forner, on Aug. 13, 1947. He proudly served in the United States Navy. Dave was faithful in his attendance to Homer Independent Baptist Church for many years and had trusted Jesus Christ as his Saviour many years ago. He loved his church family and will be sorely missed by all who knew him, in and around our community.
