Cynthia Ann Muhs

Cynthia Ann Muhs (Sea Mom) died June 13, 2017. “She passed on from this realm,” her family said.

A master mariner who loved the sea and all creatures great and small, Cyn lived in Homer since the early 1980s and made her home here. She was born June 17, 1962.

She is survived by her significant other, Brad Somers; father, Fred Muhs; brother, Ted Muhs, and sister, Kelly. She was greatly loved by all that knew her.

There will be a celebration of her life, fellowship and a potlatch from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017, at the Kachemak Mariculture Center located across from Pier One Theater on the Homer Spit.
