Casey D. Wise, 40, of Sycamore, Ill., died Monday, April 18, 2016, at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, Ill.

He was born Feb. 29, 1976 in Homer, Alaska, the son of William and Nancy (Williams) Wise. Casey married Erica Nelson on July 12, 2003 in Sycamore.

Casey was a homemaker and an accomplished artist who successfully sold his paintings. He also was a fly fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Erica; his daughter, Johanna; his twin brother, Cody; his mother, Nancy; and his father, Chat. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

There will be no services. Cremation is by Anderson Funeral Home Crematory in DeKalb.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Casey D. Wise Memorial Fund, for his daughter, Johanna, addressed to the Wise family in care of Anderson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 605, 2011 South Fourth Street, DeKalb, IL 60115.
