Homer Council on the Arts continues to impress me; this incredible nonprofit has once again proven their generosity towards Homer’s young artists. 

I’m honored to be one of them, and to have received a $600 scholarship for theatre arts through their Youth Summer Arts Scholarship program. This scholarship was made possible by proceeds from Jubilee, which boasted a stellar ensemble of talented performers K-12 and a large, appreciative audience. 

I will be utilizing this scholarship to attend Sitka Fine Arts Camp this summer, taking exciting courses with professional working actors in Improv, Shakespeare, Musical Theatre and more. 

Thank you so much, HCOA, for continually giving back to the young artists of Homer, and for supporting us wherever our dreams and ambitions may take us.
