Walmart in Kenai briefly shut down Friday evening in response to a bomb threat.
Kenai Police and Fire departments responded at 7:22 p.m. to a report that the business had received a threat from someone who claimed to be inside the store with a bomb, according to a Friday dispatch.
The store was evacuated without incident and searched by police and store personnel. No bomb or other incendiary devices were found.
The store reopened for business about one hour after the closure.
The investigation is ongoing.
