Dear Alaskans and Beyond,
On the evening of Christmas Day, our 11-year-old girl, Angelica, was hurt in an auto accident. We would like to give our deepest thanks to all of the rescuers and care providers who were involved in responding to this accident. There were many responders, from Homer to Anchor Point to Ninilchik, and we are thankful beyond words to every one of you. A huge thank you for the excellent care that Angelica received at the SPH Emergency Department, and continues to receive here at Providence Children’s Hospital. Everyone has been so wonderful.
We are greatly blessed by the outpouring of thoughts, prayers, support, and donations from people and businesses in our community and beyond. Each day, Angelica reads messages of support from family, friends, and even people we’ve never met before, and each day they give her an extra boost to keep on going with a smile. Words could never express our gratitude. We give thanks to God for the blessing we have in all of you.
