A big thank you to all of the sponsors of the Early Childhood Wellness Fair which was part of the larger Rotary Health Fair held at Homer High School on Nov. 2. This was the first year that included an emphasis on early childhood wellness. Sponsors for this event included Best Beginnings of Homer, SPROUT Family Services, Homer Head Start and Paul Banks Elementary PTA  and staff. Applause to Brian Partridge, Jenifer Dixon, Terri Mach and  Caroline Venuti for their presentations that provided resources for families with young children. In particular, we would like to thank Sharon Minsch and the Homer Kachemak Bay Rotary Club for their coordinating efforts in making this event such a success for our community. 

Once again, a big thanks to everyone who supported the theme of  “It’s your child’s life; take a day to be well!”
