The road to college has been a long and tough one. From the decision to attend a college, to applications (too many to count) and then the countless hours spent applying for scholarships, my skills as a student were certainly tested. However, it was not in vain. 

I am pleased to say that I will be attending Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore., this fall. This is happening thanks to the help of the Kachemak Bay Medical Clinic. On Monday, May 13, I was awarded their scholarship in hopes that I will continue to excel in academics, leadership and community involvement. I am so honored to receive this award and I look forward the exciting adventure that awaits me at Linfield.
