I would like to thank the Homer Foundation and its donors for honoring me with the 2015 Health Care Providers Scholarship. I was born and raised in Homer and graduated from Homer High School in 2008. It is a great privilege to grow up in a community with the opportunity to receive a scholarship such as this to aid students in their journey towards the medical field. This scholarship is a great resource to assist in my educational endeavors as I pursue my doctorate in physical therapy.
