I would like to thank the Homer Foundation and Homer Community Science Scholarship for giving me the opportunity to pursue my higher education. I am attending the University of Alaska Fairbanks with the help of the Science Scholarship Fund. I am loving college in the Far North; being a part of community that explores the outdoors, emphasizes individual inquiry and  encourages research at an undergraduate level.  It is wonderful that there is an organization in Homer that  helps young people like myself pursue their dreams.
