Once again Homer shows it supports its own. The Independent Living Center would like to thank all of those involved in making the launch of “Slugs Forever!” a giant success. The book, illustrations and music were donated to ILC for a fundraiser to support  our mission.  

Special thanks go to Marianne, Maggie, Dave, Sally, Cathy,  Robert, Audrey, Keeley and Ann for your continued support and creativity. We also would like to acknowledge Homer’s businesses for your part in this success; the Homer Bookstore and crew for making us look like we had done this before, Fat Olives for the yummy brownies and Safeway for the balloons and flowers. 

 If you missed us last week, you can see us again Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Pratt Museum from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
