Gearing up for its fifth season, the Seldovia Bay Ferry has announced it will begin operation May 23 and continue through Sept. 2. The 150-passenger M/V Kachemak Voyager will provide quick, 45-minute trips between Homer and Seldovia twice a day.
Operating Thursday through Monday, the ferry will run the same schedule as last year, with Seldovia departure times at 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and Homer Ramp 7 departures  at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. 

Extra travel dates to accommodate summer holidays include May 27 and Sept. 2.

One-way tickets are $38 per person, plus taxes. Reservations are not required; travelers can purchase tickets on the ferry. Passengers are asked to arrive 30 minutes before departure, more if transporting freight.
