The Homer High School Mariner Co-op Hockey Team would like to thank the community of Homer for coming out to support them in the End of the Road Shootout held Nov. 21-23 at the Kevin Bell Arena. It was a great to have so many fans cheering for the Mariners.

We also would like to thank our supporters who have sponsored the team this year: the Kachemak Bay Ferry,  Northwind Aviation, The Center, Spenard Builders Supply, Southwest Alaska Pilots Association, South Peninsula Hospital — Homer Medical Center, Compass Rose Properties, Halibut Cove Live, Renewable Resources Coalition,  Alaska Trophy Fishing Safaris, Story Real Estate, F/V Surrender, Kepler Park, Patricia Green, Boss Hoggz, Homer Electric Association, Preventive Dental  Services, P.C., and Magic Fish Company. Because of these encouraging sponsors, the Mariners were able to host a fantastic three-day tournament and they are looking forward to the upcoming games against the valley teams  Dec. 5 and 6 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 7 at 12:30 p.m.  Come and cheer on the Mariners.
