I would like to extend my deepest gratitude and appreciation to all who made my dad’s benefit (Dan Drake benefit on June 1) possible. The communities of Homer, Anchor Point and Soldotna/Kenai are outstanding. Many businesses and people donated so much to make the benefit a huge success. We could not have done it without the help from all of you. I wanted to individually name each person and business who helped make this possible, but with a 300 word maximum, I would have easily exceeded that in names alone. We are so lucky to live in such a wonderful community.
