Kachemak Bay Lions would like to thank Paul Banks Elementary and Head Start for allowing us to check the eyes of the children in their care. We were able to do a total of 202 children and 21 of them were given referrals to see their doctor. What a marvelous opportunity to give back to our community and to provide this valuable service. The machine that we use tests for eye diseases and abnormalities.  We are in hopes of doing more testing in the other schools in our area. Again, thank you for allowing us this honor.
