With support from the Sheldon Youth to Youth Fund  and the Homer Foundation’s Youth Advisory Committee, local youths have been able to participate in safe social events. By offering free skating outings to the Kevin Bell Arena, more kids have been introduced to winter recreational choices and healthy activities. Big Brothers Big Sister of Homer, Homer Flex School, Homer Head Start and Homer High School have all been excited to participate in this opportunity. Young people doing healthy things makes for a strong community. See you at the rink.
