The Kachemak Heritage Land Trust will host this month’s Homer Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. today. The mixer will be at KHLT’s office at the end of Klondike Avenue on Poopdeck Platt’s original homestead, a 3.47-acre lot in the heart of Homer. Parking is available at Bay Realty and on Klondike Avenue. Entertainment will feature Homer’s Ukulele Group and campfire fun, weather permitting. The event is a chance to get an answer to the question: Who was Poopdeck Platt? For more information, call KHLT at 235-5263.
