The Nov. 18 edition of the Homer News was not printed on Wednesday night because of a power outage in Kenai and at our printer. The outage also cause issues with the printer. Today’s paper will be available on Friday. Subscribers and vendors will not get the paper today.
According to Homer Electric Association’s Facebook page, the outage happened starting 7:15 p.m. Nov. 17, and was caused by an equipment failure at the Marathon substation. Power was restored by 8:55 p.m.
The Homer News apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this delay. The e-edition of the newspaper is available at www.homernews.com.
