I want to give a shout out to our local businesses and organizations that supported the Healthy Futures Program and the Mileage Club Program at West Homer Elementary and Fireweed Academy third-sixth grades this spring. For the Healthy Futures Program, we had generous support and donations from Kellie Blue at The Bay Club, Mary Jo Cambridge at the Alaska Training Room, Mike Illg at Community Schools, Bridget Kuhns at the Kate Kuhns Aquatic Center, the West Homer Elementary PTO, and the Kevin Bell Ice Rink.  For our Mileage Club program, we had generous support and donations from Claire Waxman at Homer Saw and Cycle, Derek Reynolds at Cycle Logical, and the Kachemak Bay Running Club. Please help support these local business and organizations because they support our community.
