Beginning Friday, Homeric Traders is open for business from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

The new business, which specializes in buying, selling and trading “the Alaskan Way,” is owned and operated by Ken Sprague and Nickie Knight of Homer. The store features “high quality, vintage, gently used and new merchandise.” Sprague and Knight say they are always looking for architectural salvage materials, vintage Alaskana, outdoor gear, gold and silver, wood stoves, antiques and cool stuff.
