Homer welcomes 1st baby of 2025

Jasmine Bunnell was born at South Peninsula Hospital on Jan. 1

Jasmine Marie Bunnell has the honor of being the first baby born in 2025 at South Peninsula Hospital’s family birthing center. Jasmine was born at 12:49 p.m. on Jan. 1. She weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces and measured 21 inches long. Her parents are Cory Singleton and Jack Bunnell. On Jan. 2, SPH’s Derotha Ferraro reported that both baby and family were doing well.
