A Homer man died in a single-vehicle car crash early Saturday morning in Homer. According to an Alaska State Trooper press release, Charles Moore, 60, crashed his vehicle at about 12:40 a.m. April 23 near Mile 10 East End Road traveling east from town. Troopers said Moore was pronounced dead at the scene and was the only person in the vehicle. Troopers said Moore did not appear to wear a seatbelt.

Next of kin has been notified and an investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
