Thursday — Spring Fever. Share a picture of you playing your favorite outside activity

Friday — Friendly Friday. Write a positive, uplifting message. Be creative using sidewalk chalk, art, shaving cream, food, etc.

Monday, April 27 — final PTO meeting of the year via Zoom from 6-7 p.m.

Friday, May 1 — Drive Through Art Exhibit. The West Homer Elementary staff invites the public to the Drive Through Art Exhibit from 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 1. The school will be celebrating finishing up the retaining wall mural. Last spring, staff and students worked together under the direction of teacher Krista Etzwiler to paint a beautiful salmon stream flowing down the retaining wall directly in front of the school. This spring, students created 44 stained glass mosaic salmon to swim up the stream. West Homer staff will be present in the parking lot welcoming guests as they drive through. Also, on the night of the event West Homer will host a silent auction for six additional stained glass mosaic salmon on the school Facebook page. The money earned from the sale of these fish will be used for future school wide art projects.
