At Drama, Debate and Forensics competition at West Anchorage High School last week, Homer High’s Robert Hockema took first place in the Lincoln-Douglas debate.

Solo acting, first place, August Kilcher; second place, Lindsey Schneider;

Duet acting, second place, Eryn Gillam and Robert Hockema; sixth place, Zane Boyer and Lauren Jones;

Duo interpretation, second place, Jonas Noomah and Evan Boyer; fourth place, Zane Boyer and August Kilcher;

Foreign extemporaneous speaking, second place, Lindsey Schneider; fifth place, Nolan Bunting.

Coming up for the Homer DDF team are tournaments in Eagle River, Dec. 5-6; Service High, Jan. 16-17; Homer, Jan. 23-24; and Dimond, Jan. 30-31. Anyone interested in judging can call 235-4667.
