The students at Homer Flex want to thank all the people who attended the fundraiser for Doctors Without Borders to help the people in the Philippines. We were able to raise more than $500 to help this organization. 

Personally, I felt so empowered by this experience; our community has pulled together on such short notice to help strangers in need half way around the world. This says so much of the outstanding citizens in our little town of 
Homer, Alaska.
