Family members of a local man who died in a Jan. 15 plane crash near Pokhara, Nepal, launched a GoFundMe campaign Monday to support his wife and daughters. Hari Pariyar and three close relatives of Pariyar’s wife, Corrina, are confirmed to have been aboard the twin-engine ATR- 72 aircraft operated by Nepal’s Yeti Airlines that crashed into a gorge near Pokhara on Sunday and killed 68, according to The Associated Press.

Kayley Kiefer, sister of Corrina Pariyar, and Sierra Frost launched the fundraiser, which had a goal of $30,000. As of Tuesday afternoon, more than half that total had been raised, with over 150 donations made. All proceeds will go toward supporting Pariyar’s wife and daughters in the aftermath of their loss, the fundraiser description said..

Donors may also share words of support on the fundraiser’s webpage. Kiefer and Frost will post updates as available with further ways to support the Pariyar family. Donations can be made at https://gofund.me/1b2beed3.
