Food pantry fundraiser scheduled at Alice’s

Christopher Kincaid is organizing and hosting a Christmas music event at Alice’s Champagne Palace on Dec. 21 starting at 6 p.m. The event will feature Kincaid “and his band of merry elves,” the Klann Family String Band, Orion Donicht and a story rendition of “T’was the Night Before Christmas” performed by Peter Norton.

Kincaid’s son, Ames, a Homer freshman, will also share his own new music album, “Snowy Sky,” produced under the name Touche.

The event will have door prizes from local businesses including the Kannery, Coop’s Coffee, Northwind and the Classic Cook. Awards will be given for the best and worst holiday outfits. Food will be available to order directly from Alice’s.

Entry to the event will be a monetary donation or several canned food items that will be provided to support the Homer Food Pantry for the holiday season.
