The family of Robert P. James wishes to express heartfelt appreciation for the many kind thoughts, prayers and help we have received in the last few weeks. The sudden loss of Doris’ husband of 63 years, and our father, has left us struggling to adjust. 

We are so thankful for the mercy and comfort of God and the support from family, friends, and community. Our special thanks to Dr. Roberts, Dr. Sayer, Dr. Bell, Dr. Doser and the staff of South Peninsula Hospital who cared for Bob in his final days; and to Leah, Ben and Teddy who opened their home to us; and to Neil, Dennis, Jacquie, Sam, Danny, Tisa, Jordan, Connie and everyone who helped with the service.
