The State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities has opened the Alaska Marine Highway System 2024 summer schedule up for public comment. The schedule can be found online: https://dot.alaska.gov/amhs/doc/summer_considerations_2024.pdf. Comments will be taken for two weeks until Dec. 18 and two virtual meetings will take place to hear comments and other schedule adjustment considerations.

One meeting is set for the Southeast region of Alaska and the second is for the Southwest and Southcentral regions. Both are scheduled for Dec. 19. The Zoom links for the meetings can be found at the same site listed previously. The physical location for the meetings is the Alaska Marine Highway Ketchikan Central Office and people can attend there also.
