On behalf of the Homer Hockey Association (HHA), I’d like to thank the good folks at the Homer Theater for sponsoring our very successful fundraiser last week. About 150 hockey lovers showed up to support the Kevin Bell Arena.  All the proceeds (more than $1,100) went directly into our TILT “crowd-funding” campaign (tilt.tc/cIPb) to help raise the additional $60,000 we need to keep the rink open next year. Once again, the community and businesses of Homer have rallied behind their local ice rink so we can continue providing on-ice recreation of all kinds, for all ages, on the lower Kenai Peninsula. Thank you all for your support.
