Many, many thanks to the 100-plus businesses and families who generously donated prizes, food and time to the “2015 After Graduation Casino Night”  held at the Elks Lodge and hosted by the parents of the senior class. It was an amazing success. 

Many times during the evening students marveled at the generosity of the community, businesses and parents.   This event demonstrated once again our community’s endless commitment, love and support for Homer’s youth. 

The Class of 2015 chose this quote by John F. Kennedy to put on their class sweatshirts: “We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or to watch we are going back from whence we came.” As they launch into their next adventures, whether they be here or afar, they know from “whence they have come” and that is a wonderful thing.  

Again, thanks to our “village” for supporting casino night and more importantly for the unending support for our children for the past 18 years.
