Thank you, Bill Choate, for your poignant reality check as to the true legacy of the WKFL community. I have personally stepped back to check how rosy my lenses may be with regard to the history involved. For you, I hope that the  process of  shining light on  the full  story adds to your healing, and not to your pain.
