Candidates for Alaska governor and lieutenant governor speak in a forum at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at Alice’s Chanpage Palace. Attending are gubernatorial candidates Gov. Bill Walker, indepenent; Mark Begich, Democrat; Mead Treadwell, Mike Dunleavy, Merica Hlatcu and Darin Colbry, all Republican. Lt. Governor candidates attending are Stephen Wright, Kevin Meyer and Lynn Gattis, all Republican. The Homer Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center sponsors the forum.
