The Angry Salmon hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony, sponsored by the Anchor Point Chamber of Commerce, in celebration of their official grand opening on Saturday, May 11.
Located in the former and historic Anchor River Inn, the Angry Salmon restaurant and bar represents the revitalization of a longtime business in Anchor Point.
“We’re excited to be open and back to the community,” said Chelsea Anderson, manager of the Angry Salmon. “It’s been amazing to have people come in and share their memories and experiences from when it was the Anchor River Inn, and we’re super excited that we can open our doors again and create new memories for people.”
Chamber president Dawson Slaughter called the Angry Salmon’s opening “a local economy boost.”
The remodeled building pays deliberate homage to its history, with preserved photos hanging on the walls and the original Anchor River Inn sign displayed as art on one of the restaurant walls.
The Angry Salmon, located at 34358 Old Sterling Highway in Anchor Point, is open Wednesday-Sunday from 4-9 p.m. Find more information at www.angrysalmonak.com/.
